HABITAT MART

Shipping Policy

Habitat Mart provides a purchasing and shipping service for products from the United States to Vietnam. Because sourcing and shipping happen across borders, order processing may involve several distinct stages.

This policy is intended to help customers understand our delivery coverage, estimated timelines, shipping costs, and factors that may affect the delivery process.

1. Delivery Coverage

Habitat Mart supports delivery to addresses in Vietnam provided by the customer at checkout.

The delivery address must be complete and accurate, including the recipient's full name, phone number, address, and any other information the shipping carrier needs to complete delivery.

For certain locations with restricted access, the carrier may only be able to deliver to a designated receiving area, such as:

  • The lobby or receiving area of a building or apartment complex.
  • The reception area of an office or building.
  • Locations with controls on couriers or vehicle access.
  • Areas the carrier is not permitted to access directly.

In these cases, the customer is responsible for coordinating with the carrier to receive the package at an appropriate location.

Habitat Mart encourages customers to record a continuous video while unboxing and inspecting the package as soon as it is received. This video may serve as supporting evidence if an issue arises regarding the product, quantity, or condition of the order.

2. Shipping Process and Timeline

Because products are purchased from suppliers in the United States and shipped to Vietnam, an order may go through several steps before it reaches the customer.

Stage 1: Purchasing and domestic shipping within the United States

Once a customer completes an order, Habitat Mart processes and purchases the product from the supplier in the United States.

The product is then shipped from the supplier's address to a consolidation warehouse or the receiving location of Habitat Mart's shipping partner in the United States.

Estimated time: 1–3 business days, depending on the product, its availability, the supplier, and the receiving location in the United States.

Stage 2: International shipping to Vietnam and domestic delivery

Once the product arrives at the warehouse in the United States, it is shipped to Vietnam and then handed off to a local carrier for delivery to the customer's registered address.

Estimated time: 9–11 business days from the time the product is handed off for international shipping.

Actual delivery time may vary depending on the delivery address, shipping schedules, customs clearance, and the processing capacity of the carriers involved.

Total estimated time

Under normal operating conditions, the time from order confirmation to delivery is typically:

2–3 weeks.

This timeframe is an estimate only and is not an absolutely guaranteed delivery time.

3. Factors That May Affect Delivery Time

Delivery may take longer than expected due to factors outside Habitat Mart's direct control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather or natural disasters.
  • Traffic conditions or transportation disruptions.
  • Changes to flight schedules, shipping schedules, or carrier capacity.
  • Customs procedures and cargo inspections.
  • Changes in government regulations or policy.
  • Issues arising during international shipping.
  • Carriers being overloaded or experiencing processing delays.
  • Delivery addresses in hard-to-reach areas.
  • The customer being unable to receive the package on the scheduled delivery.
  • Other events of force majeure.

When a significant delay occurs, Habitat Mart will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed and provide support where possible.

4. Order Tracking

Customers can track the status of their order through their Habitat Mart account, where the order supports shipping status updates.

Tracking information may be updated at each stage, including:

  • Processing.
  • Received at the U.S. warehouse.
  • In transit to Vietnam.
  • Arrived in Vietnam.
  • Handed off to the local carrier in Vietnam.
  • Delivered successfully.

If tracking information is unavailable on the website or additional support is needed, customers can contact Habitat Mart through our official support channels.

5. Shipping Costs

Habitat Mart works with appropriate carriers and logistics partners to ship products from the United States to Vietnam and complete domestic delivery.

The shipping cost for each order may be determined based on several factors, including:

  • The weight and dimensions of the package.
  • The delivery address.
  • The shipping method.
  • International shipping costs.
  • Domestic delivery costs.
  • Other related fees, if any.

The shipping cost that applies to each order will be shown at checkout or before the customer completes the order.

Customers should review the total cost carefully before confirming their order.

6. Customer Responsibilities When Receiving a Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring they are able to receive the package at the registered address.

Customers should:

  • Carefully check the recipient's name, phone number, and delivery address before placing an order.
  • Ensure the phone number provided is reachable during the delivery window.
  • Track the status of the order.
  • Coordinate with the carrier when confirmation of delivery time or location is needed.
  • Check the external condition of the package upon receipt.
  • Record a video of the unboxing process to use as evidence if support is needed.

Habitat Mart is not responsible for failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer, or from the customer being unreachable or unable to receive the package after multiple delivery attempts based on the information provided.

7. When Delivery Cannot Be Completed

If the carrier is unable to reach the customer or cannot complete delivery for reasons attributable to the customer, the order may be returned to the carrier's warehouse or holding facility.

Such cases may include:

  • An incorrect or unreachable phone number.
  • An incomplete or non-existent address.
  • The customer refusing to accept the package.
  • The customer being unavailable to receive the package.
  • Inability to confirm the recipient's identity.
  • The customer not coordinating with the carrier.
  • The carrier having attempted delivery the required number of times without success.

Habitat Mart or the carrier may contact the customer to arrange redelivery where conditions allow.

8. Redelivery and Additional Costs

Where an order can still be delivered after a failed delivery attempt, Habitat Mart may help arrange redelivery.

If the failed delivery was caused by the customer, the shipping costs incurred for the subsequent delivery attempt may be charged to the customer.

Customers will be notified of any additional fees, if applicable, before redelivery is carried out.

9. Orders Returned to Warehouse

If an order is returned to the warehouse because delivery could not be completed, and the customer does not arrange to receive it within a reasonable time, Habitat Mart may handle the order based on the actual condition of the product.

For products with a short shelf life or that require special storage conditions, extended warehousing may affect product quality. In such cases, Habitat Mart may be unable to redeliver the product if it can no longer be stored under the necessary conditions.

If a customer requests redelivery, they may be required to pay the resulting shipping costs and any related fees, depending on the specific case.

10. Inspecting Your Order Upon Receipt

The carrier may not open and inspect the product with the customer in detail at the time of delivery.

For this reason, Habitat Mart strongly recommends that customers:

  • Check the external condition of the package before accepting it.
  • Record a video of the unboxing process.
  • Check the product, quantity, and accessories immediately after opening.
  • Keep the packaging and packing materials if an issue is found.
  • Contact Habitat Mart within the timeframe set out in the Return & Refund Policy if the product is found to be defective, incorrect, missing, or damaged.

Providing complete photos and video will help Habitat Mart verify the issue more quickly and accurately.

11. Changes to This Policy

Habitat Mart may update, adjust, or add to this Shipping Policy to reflect changes in business operations, operating procedures, shipping partner services, and applicable law.

The latest version of this policy will be published on the Habitat Mart website along with the date of the update.

A customer's continued use of the service after this policy is updated is understood to mean the customer has reviewed and accepted the new terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Habitat Mart encourages customers to check this policy periodically for the latest updates.
